Beim Wandern im Wald hat mich neulich ein Waldgeist beobachtet. Das ist ja auch sein gutes Recht, schließlich bin ich es, der dort fremd ist. Ich habe daher so getan, als hätte ich nichts bemerkt. Als Stadtbewohner weiß ich es zu schätzen, dass man von den Waldbewohnern nicht belästigt wird und dass mir keiner etwas verkaufen will. In solch raren Momenten sollte man darum einfach mal die Fresse halten.
Forest Spirit – A forest spirit watched me the other day while I was hiking in the woods. That is certainly his right; after all, I am the outsider there. So, I pretended not to notice a thing. As a city dweller, I appreciate not being pestered by the forest’s inhabitants and not having anyone try to sell me something. In such rare moments, you really ought to just keep your trap shut.
