Da das Auto demnächst verboten wird und alle Straßen zu Radwegen umgewidmet werden, wird es damit auch unnötig werden, auf das Enden eines Radweges hinzuweisen, da Radwege freilich kein Ende mehr haben werden. – So zumindest stellen sich das die Lobbyisten in der Bundesregierung und ihre Finanziers aus der Klimaleugnersekte anscheinend vor. Und eigentlich ist das doch eine sehr schöne Vorstellung.
Signs That Will Soon No Longer Be Needed – Since cars are soon to be banned and all roads are to be repurposed as bicycle paths, it will consequently become unnecessary to indicate where a bicycle path ends—for bicycle paths will, naturally, no longer have an end. — Or at least, that is apparently how the the lobbyists within the federal government and their financiers from the climate-denier cult imagine it. And, actually, that is quite a lovely notion.

Einladungen zum Essen bei Urgroßtante Agathe waren in der Familie wenig beliebt. Sie war dreimal verheiratet gewesen und hatte alle ihre Männer überlebt, aber das war nicht der eigentliche Grund dafür, dass niemand ihre Einladungen annehmen wollte. Sie bestand nämlich darauf, dass alle ihre Verflossenen bei jeder Mahlzeit anwesend waren, wenn auch nur in kremiertem Zustand. Das war selbst meinem Vater zu morbide.
From the Family Album – Dinner invitations from Great-Aunt Agathe were not particularly popular within the family. She had been married three times and had outlived all her husbands—yet that was not the actual reason why no one wanted to accept her invitations. She insisted, you see, that all her late husbands be present at every meal—albeit only in cremated form. Even my father found that a bit too morbid.
