An einer Baustelle stehen zwei Leute in gelben Warnwesten, um die Passanten sicher über die drei Meter Straße zu bringen. Einer wünscht mir einen schönen Freitag. An der Bushaltestelle ein paar Meter weiter steht ein Mann und macht widerliche schmatzende Geräusche, die Frau daneben furzt mehrmals. Schöner kann der Freitag tatsächlich nicht mehr werden, nicht einmal mit viel Bier.

The weekend is off to a good start – Two people in yellow safety vests are standing at a construction site to get passers-by safely across the three-meter road. One wishes me a nice Friday. A man stands at the bus stop a few meters away and makes disgusting smacking noises, the woman next to him farts several times. Friday really couldn’t get any better, not even with a lot of beer.

Heute sah ich eine junge Frau mit einem Scooter mitten auf der Straße fahren, allerdings hatte sie eine Sonnenbrille und so große Kopfhörer auf, dass sie unmöglich etwas von der Außenwelt wahrgenommen haben dürfte. Außerdem trug sie Hotpants, aber auch eine Daunenjacke. Zum Glück bin ich alt genug, um das nicht mehr verstehen zu müssen.

Grace of early birth – Today I saw a young woman riding a scooter in the middle of the street, but she was wearing sunglasses and headphones so big that she couldn’t possibly have sensed anything of the outside world. She wore hot pants, but also a down jacket. Luckily I’m old enough not to have to understand that anymore.
