Die Mieter stellen dann ein paar Monate nach dem Einzug fest, dass die Bausubstanz tatsächlich völlig verrottet ist, aber kommen aus dem Vertrag nicht mehr raus und können den Betrug in der Regel auch nicht nachweisen.

A few months after moving in, the tenants then discover that the building structure is actually completely rotten, but they can no longer get out of the contract and usually cannot prove the fraud.
