Auf dem letzten Kongress der südwestschwäbischen Ornithologen wurde einstimmig beschlossen, den Kormoran umzubenennen, denn wie dieses Foto belege, das einen Kormoran zeige, der bei ca. 4 Grad Celsius Wassertemperatur auf einem Gewässer schwimme, handele es nicht um eine Kreatur, die man ernst nehmen könne, weshalb der Kormoran künftig als Kormoron bezeichnet werden solle. Vertreter der südostschwäbischen Ornithologen widersprachen dem heftig und verwiesen darauf, dass der Kongress der südwestschwäbischen Ornithologen „aus zwei alten Deppen“ bestehe, die beide nachgewiesenermaßen Nichtschwimmer seien.
