Da steht das Alte vor dem Neuen und kann es nicht fassen, wie heruntergekommen die Welt doch ist. Andererseits handelt es sich um die Fassade der „Versuchsanstalt“. Das erklärt einiges, aber das Alte denkt sich dennoch: „Versuch gescheitert“ und hat damit auch völlig recht.
Modern poetry – The old stands in front of the new and can’t believe how run-down the world has become. On the other hand, it is the facade of the „experimental institute“. That explains a lot, but the old still thinks: „Attempt failed“ and is absolutely right.
