hinterließ anscheinend „der stechende Schmerz in der rechten Schulter“, als Ihnen einst bei den Bundesjugendspielen ein Ballweitwurf misslang. Bei manchen äußert sich so etwas nur in Ängsten, Sie führt es außerdem auf den rechten Weg: Eine „links-entschlossene Minderheit“ habe dafür gesorgt, dass die Bundesjugendspiele ab kommendem Schuljahr nur noch als bewegungsorientierter Wettbewerb ausgetragen werden. „Die Bundesjugendspiele ihres traditionellen Wettkampfcharakters beraubt und in Schneeflockenweitpusten verwandelt? Da kann man es auch ganz sein lassen. Welche Gesellschaft soll das abbilden?“ Vermutlich eine, die Wettbewerbe wie Fußballbundesliga und Casting-Shows ziemlich offensichtlich mag, aber Wettkämpfe, wenn sie Aua machen, weniger. Man könnte Ihnen jetzt unterstellen, dass Sie nur ein weiteres Schlachtfeld des Kulturkampfes eröffnen wollen, oder sich gar eine Jugend wünschen, die in gewisser Tradition flink ist wie die Windhunde und zäh wie Ihr ledriges Gesichtsfleisch, aber tatsächlich treibt Sie etwas anderes um: „Kurzum: Bundesjugendspiele und das Große und Ganze, das uns in diesem Sommer umtreiben sollte, haben eine Menge miteinander zu tun. Derzeit gewinnt dieses Land eine viel zu kleine Zahl von Wettkämpfen jedweder Art, als dass es sich leisten sollte, weitere abzuschaffen, nur weil sie welche sind.“ Die deutsche Jugend nämlich soll nicht etwa lernen, dass Bewegung gesund ist und Spaß machen darf, auch wenn man Handgranaten nicht 30 Meter weit werfen kann, sondern sie soll darauf gedrillt werden, im internationalen Kampf der Märkte zu bestehen, auf dass Deutschland wieder zu alter Größe auferstehe. Das ist, wir müssen es Ihnen, Blome, leider so deutlich sagen, im Wettbewerb mit stahlharten Kulturkämpferinnen wie Weidel und Storch ein schon sehr erbärmlicher Mädchenwurf und darum wieder keine Siegerurkunde wert. Tragen Sie’s wie ein Mann!
A trauma, Nikolaus Blome c/o Spiegel, formerly BILD, apparently was left behind by „the stabbing pain in the right shoulder“ when you failed to throw a ball at the national youth games. For some, something like this only expresses itself in fears, but you are also put on the right path: A „left-wing determined minority“ has ensured that the National Youth Games will only be held as a movement-oriented competition from the coming school year. „The Bundesjugendspiele robbed of their traditional competitive character and turned into blowing snowflakes? You can drop that. Which society is that supposed to represent?” Probably one that quite obviously likes competitions like the Bundesliga and casting shows, but competitions when they hurt, less so. One could now assume that you just want to open up another battlefield of the Culture War, or that you even wish for a youth that, in a certain tradition, is agile like greyhounds and tough as your leathery face, but actually something else is on your mind: „In short: National Youth Games and the big picture that should be on our minds this summer have a lot in common. At the moment, this country is winning far too few competitions of any kind to afford to abolish more just because they are.” The German youth should not learn that exercise is healthy and can be fun, too, even if you can’t throw hand grenades 30 meters, but it should be drilled to survive in the international battle of the markets, so that Germany rises back to its former glory. Unfortunately, we have to tell you Blome so clearly that, in competition with tough culture warriors like Weidel and Storch, this is a very pathetic malden-like attempt and therefore again not worth a winner’s certificate. Take it like a man!
