Der Luxemburger mag Bier, das ist sympathisch. Noch sympathischer wird er mir, weil er anscheinend und ganz zu recht davon ausgeht, dass Oberbayern in der Selbst- wie Fremdwahrnehmung eigentlich Überbayern ist, zumindest in Bezug auf die anderen sechs Regierungsbezirke, die das freilich energisch bestreiten würden. Aber das ist dem Überbayer wie auch dem Luxemburger herzlich egal.

I like him even more because he seems to assume, and rightly so, that Upper Bavaria, both as perceived by itself and by others, is actually above all other Bavaria, at least in relation to the other six administrative districts, which would of course vigorously deny this. But that doesn’t really matter to both the people from Uewerbayern and Luxembourg.
