Trotzdem könnte man es für komplett wahnsinnig halten, dass Sie seit Beginn der Pandemie gegen Masken und Impfstoffe agitieren, wenn es nicht tatsächlich, aus Ihrer Sicht, komplett vernünftig wäre. Denn wie sich nun herausstellte, hat Ihre Frau schon im Februar letzten Jahres, also noch bevor Covid19 von der WHO als Pandemie klassifiziert wurde, in das antivirale Medikament Remdesivir investiert. Sie wissen nicht vielleicht, wer ihr da etwas so frühzeitig gesteckt haben könnte? Ist Ihre Frau nicht mit einem Mitglied im Gesundheitsausschuss des Senats verheiratet? Was soll’s, Hauptsache gesund, nicht wahr? Zynische Grüße.

Ich hatte mir mal vorgenommen, bis zum Ende meines Lebens ein Buch gebaut, einen Baum gezeugt, ein Haus geschrieben und ein Kind gepflanzt zu haben. Nichts davon habe ich geschafft. Ich weiß nicht, wie die anderen das machen.

Urlaub soll ja entspannen, das Leben soll einfacher werden, Überflüssiges kann wegfallen. Darum genügen auch beim Zeichnen wenige Striche und Farben. Dann hat man wieder Zeit, sich dem Wesentlichen zu widmen: Trinken und in die Gegend starren.

Scaling down – Holidays should help to relax, life should become easier, superfluous things can be omitted. That is why a few lines and colors are sufficient when drawing. Then you have time again to devote yourself to the essentials: drinking and staring at the area.

Ob es aber tatsächlich zur Mittleren Reife führt, Kinder zu Tausenden abzuschlachten? Da Ihr bevorzugt kleine Mädchen tötet, liegt der Verdacht nahe, dass Ihr trotz Eurer prachtvollen Bärte nichts weiter seid als dumme Jungs, die ihre Frustration über die eigene tote Hose und das Vakuum zwischen den Ohren an vermeintlich Schwächeren auslassen. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass die Mädels zumindest lernen, mit einer Schere umzugehen.

Auf dem Balkon des Hotels in Kreta hatte ich einen guten Blick auf den Fortschritt. Als ich 1979 das letzte Mal dort war, gab es noch keinen Strom. Nun kann man sogar Klimaanlagen betreiben, wofür der Tourist aus dem Norden sehr dankbar ist.

Good view – On the balcony of the hotel in Crete I had a good view of the progress. The last time I was there in 1979 there was no electricity. Now you can even operate air conditioning, for which the tourist from the north is very grateful.

Sie waren wohl wie alle Sportler im olympischen Dorf unter Quarantäne, aber wir wollen doch hoffen, dass Sie diese sehr milde Festungshaft nur zu sportlicher Höchstleistung motiviert hat und nicht auch dazu, die Weltherrschaft anzustreben.
