Zu Recht nicht durchsetzen konnte sich das Konzept des sogenannten „Smart Home“, da es eigentlich niemanden gibt, der es mag, wenn alles, was man sagt und tut von der eigenen Wohnung kommentiert wird. Wobei die meisten Menschen es vermutlich noch viel weniger mögen, wenn die Wohnung viel smarter ist als man selbst. Eine Umfrage unter Smart Homes hat außerdem ergeben, dass die meisten ihre Bewohner tatsächlich für Vollidioten halten.
Yesterday’s Technology – The concept of the so-called „smart home“ rightly failed to catch on, as hardly anyone enjoys having everything they say and do commented on by their own living space. Then again, most people probably dislike it even more when their home is significantly smarter than they are.
