Wenn die Römer damals ihre Verurteilten nicht gekreuzigt, sondern einfach an die nächste Wand genagelt hätten, sähe es heute in allen Bauernstuben so aus. Und ein Gläubiger, der um den Beistand Gottes bittet, würde sich freilich nicht bekreuzigen, sondern mit den Händen so alberne Bewegungen machen wie ein Pantomime, der sich an einer unsichtbaren Wand entlang tastet. Insofern war es nett von den Römern, dass sie uns diese Zumutung erspart haben.

Bonds erster Arbeitstag
An seinem ersten Arbeitstag in seinem ersten Lehrjahr beim MI6 bekam Bond die Lizenz zum Öffnen. James war stolz wie Bolle.

Wie süß!
Ich habe keine Ahnung, was das für ein Tierchen ist, aber irgendwie ist es ganz reizend. Auf dem Weg zur Arbeit komme ich an dieser Kellerwohnung vorbei und jeden Tag scheint es hinter dem Fenster auf mich zu warten und hüpft aufgeregt hin und her. Dabei gibt es so süße kleine Laute von sich, so ‚Piep Wuff‘ oder auch ‚Mäh Muh‘. Ich glaube, es weiß selbst nicht genau, was es ist.
So cute! – I have no idea what this animal is, but somehow it is quite lovely. On the way to work, I pass this basement and every day it seems to wait for me behind the window and bounces excitedly back and forth, making sweet little sounds like ‚tweet woof‘ or ‚baa moo‘. Ich habe kein facebook, kein Instagram, kein twitter, kein netflix, kein snapchat, bin kein Gamer, habe kein I-Phone, keine cloud und es gibt sicher noch viel mehr Spielzeug, das ich auch nicht habe. Dafür habe ich Rücken- und Knieschmerzen, damit wenigstens ich jeden Tag daran erinnert werde, dass ich ein alter Sack bin. Die anderen werden es ja nie erfahren.
Being self-sufficient – I’m not on facebook, not on Instagram, not on twitter, not on netflix, not on snapchat, I am not a gamer, I do not have an I-Phone, no cloud and there are certainly many more toys I do not have either. But I have back and knee pain, so at least I am reminded every day that I’m an old geezer. The others will never know.
