Dieses Warnschild steht in New York auf Ground Zero exakt dort, wo Menschen aus den brennenden Gebäuden gesprungen sind. Kann man machen, denn sonst rutscht vielleicht jemand aus und verklagt die Stadt auf hundertdreiundzwölfzig Trilliarden Dollar Schadensersatz und dieses Risiko will natürlich niemand eingehen.
Tasteless warning – This warning sign is at Ground Zero in New York, exactly where people jumped out of the burning buildings. You can do that, because otherwise someone might slip and sue the city for some trillion dollars in damages, and of course nobody wants to take that risk.

Früher, das hat man heute schon fast vergessen, da konnte man den Leuten noch ins Gesicht lügen, bis sich die Balken bogen und niemanden hat’s gekümmert. Heute dagegen sind alle nur noch an der Wahrheit interessiert, so dass selbst die abgefucktesten Werbefuzzis keinen Spaß mehr daran haben, den Weltuntergang bunt anzumalen. Sic transit usw.

Am Tag vor dem Tag danach (6)
Zuerst dachte auch die NASA, es sei ein Scherz oder dass das Gras schlecht gewesen sei, aber als dann selbst die Verschwörungsspinner zugaben, dass die Sonne einer gigantischen Spinne ins Netz gegangen sei und man ihr dabei zusehen konnte, wie sie den Stern langsam aussaugte, da war klar, dass es kaum mehr Hoffnung gab. Noch niemals zuvor wurden so viele Apfelbäume gepflanzt, aber es half natürlich überhaupt nichts.
The day before the day after – At first NASA thought it was a joke or that the grass was bad, but when even the conspiracy theorists admitted that the sun had been caught in the web of a giant spider and that it was being watched as it slowly sucked the star dry, it was clear that there was little hope. Never before had so many apple trees been planted, but of course it didn’t help at all.

Alles eine Frage der Perspektive
Heute entscheidet sich, ob dieser Albtraum endlich vorbei ist, zumindest für die nächsten vier Jahre, oder ob er erst beginnt. Wenn alles gut geht, ist der orange Möchtegernmussolini bald dort, wo er hingehört, nämlich im Knast, wenn nicht, ist die AfD künftig unser geringstes Problem.

If all goes well, the orange wannabe Mussolini will soon be where he belongs, namely in prison; if not, the AfD will be the least of our problems in the future.

Weil der Baum nicht nur Diabetiker, sondern auch Kettenraucher war, musste man ihm sämtliche Äste und Blätter amputieren, da kein einziges Zweiglein mehr gesund war. Der arme Baum verlor darob allen Lebensmut und wäre am liebsten gefällt worden, aber weil er beizeiten keine Vorkehrungen getroffen hatte, interpretierten die Förster sein Schweigen als Gleichmut.

Kurz vor Schluss machte die Welt noch einmal ein richtiges Spektakel, aber die meisten Menschen waren so damit beschäftigt, gegen das Unvermeidliche zu wüten, dass sie es nicht bemerkten. Nicht einmal anständig abtreten konnten diese Dummköpfe.
