Wie bei vielen Kriminellen ist die Antwort darauf in einem Kindheitstrauma zu finden. Die anderen Kontinente hätten nämlich alle Namen bekommen, die mit ‚A‘ beginnen, während Europa sich mit einem billigen ‚E‘ begnügen musste. ‚Buropa‘ höre sich ja auch scheiße an, meinte Asien. ‚Curopa‘ aber auch, sagte Antarktika. ‚Duropa‘ ergebe erst recht keinen Sinn, setzte Afrika hinzu. Und ‚Auropa‘ sei nicht möglich, weil der Buchstabe A ja schon vergeben sei, fügte Amerika scheinheilig hinzu. Am besten nenne man das kleine Anhängsel von Asien bloß ‚Uropa‘, da es ja auch ständig darauf bestehe, die ‚alte Welt‘ zu sein. Ja, Uropa sei genau richtig, schrien sie im Chor und lachten sich dann kaputt. Na wartet, dachte sich Europa, wer zuletzt lacht, lacht am besten. Dann legte es die Welt zweimal in Schutt und Asche, bevor ihm die anderen Kontinente eine ordentliche Abreibung verpassten. Wobei man anmerken muss, dass Antarktika nicht wirklich viel dazu beigetragen hat.
