Auf einem Kinderspielplatz in Montreal wurde die größte Rutsche der Welt gebaut. Natürlich waren alle Kinder begeistert, doch kurz vor der Eröffnung machte die Stadtverwaltung klar, dass die Benutzung Kindern unter 18 Jahren untersagt sein werde. Außerdem müsse jeder, der hinunterrutschen möchte, ein ärztliches Attest vorweisen, dass er nicht bei Trost ist. Aus Kinderkreisen verlautet, dass man von den Erwachsenen nichts anderes erwartet habe und darum einfach noch mehr Zeit mit dem Handy verbringen werde. Und außerdem wolle man ein Eis. Und zwar sofort!
Generational conflict – The world’s largest slide was built on a children’s playground in Montreal. Of course, all the children were excited, but shortly before the opening the city administration made it clear that all children under 18 would be prohibited from using it. In addition, anyone who wants to slide down must present a doctor’s certificate stating that they are not in their right mind. Children say that they expected nothing else from the adults and will therefore simply spend even more time on their cell phones. And they also want an ice cream. And they want it immediately!
