Mein Vetter Herrmann macht gerade eine Ausbildung zum Industriekapitän im Baugewerbe, zumindest haben seine Eltern ihm das eingeredet. Tatsächlich ist Herrmann nicht der Hellste, weshalb seine Eltern dem örtlichen Bauunternehmen sehr dankbar waren, dass man ihm eine Stelle als Baustellenmaskottchen gegeben hat. Nun steht er Tag für Tag auf dem Gerüst, trägt zum marineblauen Overall einen marineblauen Schutzhelm und glaubt, er könne mit seinem Steuerrad all die großen Maschinen bewegen. In der Mittagspause geben die Kollegen ihm ein Bier aus und haben dafür den ganzen Tag etwas zu lachen.
From the family album – My cousin Herrmann is currently training to become a captain in the construction industry, at least that’s what his parents told him. In fact, Herrmann isn’t the brightest, which is why his parents were very grateful to the local construction company for giving him a job as a construction site mascot. Now he stands on the scaffolding every day, wears a navy blue hard hat with his navy blue overalls and thinks he can move all the big machines with his steering wheel. During the lunch break, the colleagues buy him a beer and in return have something to laugh about all day long.
