Manche Bäume würden grundlos mit Zapfen und Nüssen werfen, andere ließen Äste fallen oder stürzten sich sogar vollständig auf den ahnungslosen Wissenschaftler. Es habe schon zahlreiche schwere Verletzungen gegeben. Von einem italienischen Kollegen habe man außer einem Schuh und einer Kamera nichts gefunden.
