Neulich war ich beim Arzt, weil ich heftiges Bauchweh hatte. Der Doktor betrachtete das Röntgenbild und schüttelte den Kopf. Ob es denn so schlimm sei, fragte ich besorgt. Das nicht, meinte der Arzt, aber aufgrund einiger pandemiebedingter Verzögerungen in der Lieferkette hätte er kein passendes Ersatzteil vorrätig. Einige Gewindemuffen im Dünndarm seien schon arg korrodiert, aber da könne er momentan nichts machen. In der nächsten Zeit solle ich mich zur Sicherheit nicht überanstrengen und auf säurehaltige Lebensmittel verzichten. Soweit ist es also schon gekommen, dass nicht nur meine Elektrogeräte aus Fernost kommen, sondern sogar meine Eingeweide. Quo vadis, deutscher Maschinenbau?
