Der Bau der einzigen Pyramide nördlich der Alpen zog sich aufgrund einer Meinungsverschiedenheit zwischen dem städtischen Baureferat und der Regierung von Oberbayern so dermaßen in die Länge, dass nach einigen tausend Jahren das Pyramidenbauen nicht nur aus der Mode gekommen war, sondern das Projekt aufgrund einer neuen Verordnung der unteren Umweltschutzbehörde sowieso nicht mehr zu realisieren gewesen wäre. Der Bund der Steuerzahler war ausnahmsweise zufrieden.
Kudos to the bureaucracy – The construction of the only pyramid north of the Alps was so protracted due to a difference of opinion between the municipal building department and the government of Upper Bavaria that after a few thousand years building pyramids was not only out of fashion, but due to a new decree by the lower environmental protection authority the project would no longer have been realized anyway. The taxpayers association was satisfied for once.
