Mein Onkel Gert hat die Schnauze voll. Darum lässt er die Jalousien unten und hängt kitschige Bilder auf. „Draußen gibt es eh nix zu sehen und was es zu sehen gibt, ist potthässlich. Wer mit diesem Fensterunsinn angefangen hat, besitzt keinen Geschmack oder ist blind.“ Auch dem Lüften hat er abgeschworen. „Sauerstoff ist ein Nervengift! Was lernt Ihr eigentlich in der Schule?“ Und wenn er es frisch haben wolle, öffne er den Kühlschrank, da sei wenigstens Bier drin.

From the family album – My uncle Gert is fed up. That’s why he leaves the blinds down and hangs up cheesy pictures. “Outside there is nothing to see anyway and what there is to see is ugly. Anyone who started with this window nonsense has no taste or is blind.” He has also renounced airing. “Oxygen is a neurotoxin! What do you actually learn at school?” And if he wanted it fresh, he opened the refrigerator, at least there is beer in it.
