What was left over at creation
When God excavated the Mediterranean Sea behind the house, at first he didn’t know where to put the digging, so he stacked the dirt on the border to the neighboring property to the north. However, there was quite a bit of excavation, which led to the earth’s axis breaking and hence the winter in the north for most of the year so that there no life was actually possible. The neighbor sued him, of course, but God simply claimed that it was a mountain range called ‚The Alps‘, which had been entered in the development plan millions of years ago, because after all you also have to think about winter sports enthusiasts.
