Demokratie ist wie Körperhygiene: Sie muss jeden Tag erneuert werden. Viele Leute sind aber der Ansicht: „Schon wieder? Ich habe mich doch erst vor vier Jahren gewaschen!“ Also bleiben sie lieber auf dem Sofa liegen und stinken. Das ist natürlich nicht schön. Andererseits ahnt man ja, wo die Leute mit den braunen Flecken in der Unterhose das Kreuz setzen würden, wenn sie doch zum Wählen gingen. Insofern ist es mir lieber, sie bleiben zuhause. Ich kann sie eh nicht riechen.
Annoying – Democracy is like personal hygiene: It has to be renewed every day. But many people are of the opinion: „Again? I only washed myself four years ago!“ So they prefer to stay on the sofa and stink. That’s not nice, of course. On the other hand, one suspects, where the people with the brown spots in the underpants would put the cross, if they went to vote. In that sense I prefer them to stay at home. I can smell the rat.
